Doll Closet

This commissioned piece was created to house American Girl dolls with clothes and accessories. Constructed completely from premium pine, this 45"x30" closet contains two doll display compartments, two rows of hanging clothes, and two drawers for shoes and accessories. After initial construction, 2" divisional molding was added to create a finished front. All surfaces were filled and sanded. Drawers and knobs were added. The back panel was hand-stenciled with a deco-inspired design using complimentary fuchsia paints. The other surfaces were painted with a bright white. All surfaces were treated with a satin finish protectant.
